Our Services-- Consultation This is a comprehensive work-up to determine the cause of infertility. Dr. Stephens uses your first consultation to get a complete history and review any pertinent medical records so that he can determine the appropriate direction your course of care should take.  A complete evaluation may require the couple to undergo a series of examinations, surgical procedures, and laboratory tests to determine the cause and potential therapy for their infertility. Testing & Evaluation The physician will decide which medical tests are indicated.  These may include hormone assays and a variety of biological tests.  These tests are frequently scheduled for your first full menstrual cycle following your initial visit.   We also screen for infectious disease and follow recommendations put forth by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Laboratory &  Ultrasound Studies These services include hormone profiles and the use of ultrasound to assist in monitoring follicular (egg) development and measurement of the endometrial lining. Our office provides an in-house ultrasound technician and lab facility to accommodate our patients Surgical Procedure Dr. Stephens is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital. He performs laser surgery; micro-surgery and  gynecological surgical procedures. Insemination Programs Artificial insemination with husband and/or donor specimens is performed in our office.
